Historic building charm, spacious superior double room, thoughtful room amenities
The lack of on-site parking is a hassle!!! Some dampness in the bathroom suggests needed upkeep, while the stiff curtains are more annoying than stylish!!! Addressing noise isolation from neighboring rooms would also enhance the experience!!!

Just a proper fit for a city trip in Dorchester with good price-quality ratio. I appreciated the fresh milk and chilled water in the fridge, which was a nice touch. Make sure to check for rooms with fewer stairs if mobility is a concern.

The Superior Double Room was really comfy and clean. The bed was super soft, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Loved the big bathroom with a roll-top bath. The separate sitting area was a nice touch. The mini fridge stocked with fresh milk and water was handy. Lots of natural light from the windows, too! No noise issues even though it’s right in the center.

Had a lovely stay where I enjoyed the spacious Superior Double Room with comfy beds and a great shower. I especially loved relaxing in the cozy sitting area and the beautiful garden. Just a heads up, the bathroom could use some ventilation as it felt a bit damp at times, but it didn't ruin my experience! 😊

we had the most wonderful night at westwood house. the place is super cozy and clean, the hosts mel and tom were so friendly, like havin friends over. breakfast was amazin, so many options, and the room was comfy with everything we needed. wish we could've stayed longer! couldn't ask for more!
only complaint was that the parking was a bit tricky to find at first. also, we wished the shower had better water pressure.

The breakfast spread features an impressive array of choices, from pancakes to smoked salmon, all cooked excellently. Unique touches like homemade biscuits upon arrival and a professional-grade coffee machine in the room elevate the experience.
Parking near the hotel can be tricky to navigate, with limited spaces available just outside. The old building's bathrooms show slight dampness, particularly above the shower, which hints at the need for maintenance. the curtains in the room are a bit stiff, making them difficult to open and close, which can be annoying during the early morning light.
